The Philippine Statistics Authority reported that 2.7% of Filipino children born into poverty do not exceed the age of five years old? And when they do, a difficult future awaits them. These people who are put in unfortunate circumstances usually grow up with health issues, illiteracy, and social problems.
Poverty in the Philippines is really serious. It is a violation of human rights. Everyday, we witness the marginalized deprived of their basic human rights in areas of education, health, safety, and social life.
